Where I come from... I started my career in Columbus after graduating from Columbus College of Art & Design. I started in graphic design, always having an interest in technology and the web. After a good career in Package Design, I realized my experience in leading people around a box while educating them about a product, translated extremely well to the fast growing field of UX/UI Design, which is literally held in our hands on a daily basis. I honed my knowledge and skills to the path I'm on today.
...where I'm going. I've been in UX/UI design for about 3 years now, and I haven't looked back. I am very passionate not only about making products, but creating the experiences within products which make people think, feel, and accomplish. Over that time, I have gone from a designer with some experience in HTML, CSS, and JS to a professional that can confidently code the prototypes I create, helping front-end developers use creative CSS to accomplish beautiful designs that consumers appreciate. My experiences have even helped me design for people with disabilities using very strict Level AA WCAG 2.0 Compliance. As I continue on this path, I know this journey will shape me into the most knowledgeable and skilled UX/UI designer I can be for my workplace, or maybe even you.
